Balloon powered car is a very easy project that you can make with your kids. Its not only fun but also teaches that air pressure can make heavy objects move. I got the kit from a wonderboxx Air and Wind box. But you can easily make this at home.
All you need is a cardboard, 4 bottle tops, 2 bamboo skewers or straws, a balloon and some tape. Make holes in the middle of the bottle tops and put the skewers through them to form the front and back set of wheels for the car. Take this in the front and back of the cardboard. Tape a straw in the middle of the cardboard. Put this straw through a balloon and tape it properly so that the balloon will not come out. The structure is ready. All you have to do is blow the balloon through the straw and watch your car race away.
