Popsicle Lantern

You need the following items:
1. Popsicle Sticks
2. Tracing paper/Wax paper
3. Hot Glue
4. Push pin/ Needle

I made my lantern in the shape of a cube. You can choose any pattern.

Stick 4 Popsicle sticks to make a square. Make 4 of them in total.


Cut the tracing paper or wax paper to the size of the squares. Cut 4 of them.


You can leave it blank or you can make a pattern on the paper or you could just paint it.

I made a pattern and then traced it with a push pin making small holes along the pattern. Take the help of an adult to do this.


Stick all 4 papers onto the square Popsicle sticks.


Stick all the 4 squares to form the shape of a cube using hot glue. While using hot glue please take an adults help.


Put a small candle or tea light inside and your lantern is ready.
